Evelyn was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Her love for creative self-expression began at a young age and did not wane over the years.

She moved to the mountain resort town of Park City, Utah in 1987.  It was one year later that Evelyn began her expertise as a massage therapist, while at the same time building a body of artwork for shows and exhibits.  

She eventually became owner of the Evelyn Fournier Studio Gallery on Main Street in Park City.  She kept herself busy with house call massages, running the gallery and painting.

After living there for ten years, she relocated to Santa Cruz, California.  While breathing in the salty air she ignited a serious, in-depth study of astrology that fueled her stellar-inspired series of artwork.  Evelyn returned to Utah and continues her exclusive private massage and astrology practice that fuels her painting from the heart.

Evelyn works primarily in oil. She has received many awards and participated in exhibits and art shows across the country. In photographing her own original reference material, she has traveled to Alaska, Africa, Peru, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and locally within the United States. Evelyn's work resides in private collections throughout the country.  Her inspiration continues from the well spring of life itself.

Evelyn’s study as a professional astrologer began in 1997 with Risa D'Angeles at the Esoteric & Astrological Studies & Research Institute in Santa Cruz, California. She is a graduate of the Steven Forrest Astrological Apprenticeship Program. Evelyn also attended Kepler College, in Washington state, studying Medieval Europe and Mediterranean Civilizations with Demetra George as her advisor.

Evelyn’s inspirations include astrology and shamanism, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Natural Health.  She earned her massage license in 1988, gained clinical massage experience in chiropractic and physical therapy settings and later became certified in Medical Massage.  In 2023, she became certified in Primordial Sound Meditation through the Deepak Chopra program.
